Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is a famous American woman of business. She is the owner of control of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently is the president of the organization. Buss is a California born Buss has been raised by an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss, her father was a successful entrepreneur with a real estate business who later became owner of Lakers Sports and Entertainment. After her parents divorced in 1972 She began feeling in a sense of being abandoned emotionally. At the age 19 she became the General Manager of Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis club. The team was later renamed the Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. Before becoming vice president for the Lakers, she served as president of Great Western Forum. Buss was the father of her deceased father in 2013 which is when the Lakers were inherited from him by her and five of her siblings via the trust. Each of the siblings had an equal number of votes. Buss was elected president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss runs Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles the organization which promotes pro wrestling.
