Nancy Wilson, a jazz singer and three-time Grammy Award winner was born in Ohio, Chillicothe on the 20th of February, 1937. She was married to Olden Wilson, an ironworker who had worked for a long time as a housekeeper. Nancy was the youngest of six kids. Her father was a fan of music and loved to play records at home. The agent of Adderley heard about her in The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she signed. within a month of her arrival in New York City.
