Heidi Klum, born on 1 June 1973, in Bergisch Gladbach Germany. Her mother Erna worked as a hairdresser. Gunther Kum worked as an executive for an organization that dealt in cosmetics. Heidi's mother worked as the producer at 4711 Parfum. Her home town was Bergisch Gladbach, a small city of about 100,000 inhabitants situated six miles away from Cologne was where she was raised. German-American actress, television hostess and model Heidi Klum now lives in the southern part of California. Heidi Klum, 2019 Heidi Klum is a guest at the 2019 iHeartRadio Awards at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles California on 14 March 2019. Klum first began modeling while she worked as an barmaid at the Dusseldorf nightclub in the year 1992. Karin, a then 18 year old student, got her involved in the German talent show called Model 92. The German women's magazine Petra supported the show, which was part of Thomas Gottschalk's late-night talkshow. Klum had to compete against 25000 contestants from Germany as well as Europe to become one of three semifinalists. Klum was awarded a top $300,000 modeling award in April of 1992.
